ALMAX Concrete & Construction

Since 2020, I have contracted with Almax for many much-needed renovations to our home, built in 1957. Over the years, we completed a full plumbing replacement, renewed a sizable portion of the electrical system, and installed several new outlets. We also replaced all the windows, painted the house, did some roof repair, installed a cemented drainage ditch next to the house on a hillside, and completed several other minor details. However, the major work included a complete remodel of our main bathroom, including an expansion; a complete remodel of the kitchen and the shared washer/dryer area; and a remodel of a guest bathroom with a new shower and all related fixtures. Throughout this work over many years, the Almax workers were professional, doing exceptional demolition and installation work and thoroughly cleaning and restoring disturbed areas. When certain features failed to work as expected, Polo Carrillo, the owner and CEO, arranged repairs and replacements at no cost to me. Most impressive was the complete demolition and redo of the cement work done because it did not meet Mr. Carrillo’s standards! Polo has also been fair in his pricing and in discussing any work to be done or changes that might need to be made along the way. We haven’t always had this kind of success with other contractors. Overall, we have been 100% satisfied and plan to use Almax’s services again when needed. I’d also add that Mr. Carrillo’s vast construction experience helped us make design decisions that greatly improved our project outcomes. Based on our experience over these many projects since 2020, I can unreservedly recommend Almax as your construction resource.

We wanted to remodel the interior of our home, which was built in the early 1950’s before moving in. We contacted ALMAX construction who explained to us in detail and with much professionalism, every step needed to achieve an open concept from
our kitchen to our now very large living room. They explained the complexity this type of remodel involved, such as removing a load bearing wall and using concrete footings and structural beams
in order to achieve our goal. Needless to say, we were extremely satisfied and happy with the end result that we also hired them to redo our driveway. We highly recommend ALMAX Construction for their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. Thank you ALMAX!
