Today I had stopped at Downey Pizza Co. For lunch with my son on the way home from a pokemon tcg convention from Irvine. The hostess had let us know that we were free to sit anywhere we would like & our server would be with us within a couple minutes. Our server name’s is Lexi & she did a great job on taking our drink order & giving us some time to look at the menu. I had ordered their cheese bread as an appetizer. The cheese bread had came to our table fresh hot, cheesy & soft, the way cheese bread should be served. The main entree I had ordered for my son & I to enjoy was their meat lovers pizza in a small, which gave 8 slices, to enjoy with Canadian Bacon, sausage, ground meatball meat & pepperoni. This pizza was excellent & very fresh to enjoy, especially being soft & crispy pizza. I would definitely recommend coming to this place to enjoy fresh made pizza. If you do Come to DPC, I would also recommend getting Lexi as your server, she is very attentive & pleasant to have as a server.

This place was not terrible, but the the environment was very, very LOUD. We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday. There’s just a lot of echo. There’s a bar too so people get really comfy and start talking louder. People were spilling drinks. It was wild. The food was decent. I loved the mozzarella sticks…..great cheese pull. Wedges were good, but not amazing. Pizza was good but it was missing something. The crust was thick and fluffy. No my preference but not bad. Cheese pull was perfect. I probably would not come back just because of how loud it was. It IS a great place if you have a large group. They have lots of tables to put together in the center of the room. There is parking but it’s a little oddly shaped and can be confusing. Get there early if you have to be there by a certain time.

The food is ok nothing out of the ordinary. The pastrami pizza is the reason why we come is delicious. Nelson was our waiter and service was on point . Great customer service .

Downey Pizza Company is honestly heaven if you’re a meat lover.
You gotta order the All Meat Pizza. They seriously don’t skimp on the toppings—it’s literally buried under layers of pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, and beef. You can barely see the crust! Every bite is super savory, cheesy, and just hits the spot. It’s as American as it gets.
To balance it out, the Buffalo Wings are a must. They come out super crispy and have that classic tangy kick that cuts right through the richness of the pizza. Dip ’em in some Ranch, grab a cold beer, and you’re set. It’s the real deal!

Very friendly staff and quick service. Table was not wiped from last guests, the plates were not washed, still has grease and bits of tomato sauce. We decided to power through. Half cheese, half meats large pizza not bad on price, but smaller sizes were pricey. Pizza was delicious! Glad we stayed after dirty booth and plates (we ate on the napkins).
