Gorilla Roofing Inc

Replacing a roof is no small project, so I spent a lot of time researching contractors, comparing proposals, and asking questions before making my decision. Gorilla Roofing was the local roofing contractor that completed the work on behalf of Remi, and I’m very glad they did.

We’ve been in our home for 20 years, and the house was built in 1957. The original single-layer roof was well past its service life and in bad shape. Once the roof was removed, they replaced all of the fascia around the house, repaired rotted wood where needed, added O’Hagin-style roof vents, and replaced my solar attic fans, which should help improve the overall cooling and ventilation of the home.

They also removed and repaired an old dormer/birdhouse-style roof feature that had become an eyesore. What an improvement.

The foreman ran a great crew. Everyone knew their job, stayed organized, and kept a steady rhythm from start to finish. They worked hard, kept the job site clean, and were respectful around our home. It was honestly a pleasure having them here.

The project took about four days to complete, including the reroof, wood repairs, fascia replacement, ventilation upgrades, attic fan replacement, and finishing details. The finished product looks great and made a huge difference in the appearance and function of our home.

Overall, I’m very happy with the experience and the quality of the work. Thank you to the entire Gorilla Roofing team for a job well done.

Geno recently replaced the roof of our second home in Monte Rio. The house is under the redwood trees and over the years, moss growth had built up. He responded very quickly and clearly went over my options. He was clear on what was needed for the project and even recommended add ons that I could source from outside his company (flashing/gutter guards) that his team could install. The roof replacement was done in under eight hours and I am very happy with the outcome.
