Gracie Barra Downey

I came in apprehensive but I can pleasantly say that this place is truly a family-oriented friendly environment with a real curriculum. The professor is amazing with the kids, he makes sure they feel welcomed and included. The coaches do great as well with the kids, they make sure that everyone knows that they are all apart of the same team and to cheer each other on. Everyone is friendly with each other. This is a good place to go if your looking for a place for your child to learn the Gracie way, where everyone is welcome.

Thank you to Professor Chris, Coach Daniel, Coach Josh & Coach Natalie for amazing kids classes this morning. What a fun, energetic place to learn self defense and sports jiu jitsu. Prof Chris had the parents AND kids laughing with all his jokes and character references. The kids learn so much in a short period of time with the way they structure their classes. I also loved the way they introduced competition and training in a light-hearted way removing stress and providing space for the kids to work hard. We belong to another GB in Utah (GB Sandy) but we were traveling & visiting today! Thank you for welcoming us with open arms today! Amazing place to grow and learn! We’ll be back! 💪🏼

GB Downey is special…they creates an incredible culture that encourages kids to grow in the sport improving their discipline and respect in each other…my 8 years old son just changed his white belt to gray .I’m so proud of his own …As a Brazilian mom I really recommend GB Downey
