My family and I have been coming to Gloria’s for several decades now. The food has generally been delicious overall. But lately we have collectively noticed a decline in food quality and service. One example is when we ordered the “Queso Fundido” with chorizo, it used to have a significant amount of chorizo, and today it only had small traces of it. Separately, the “Mojarra Frita” was saturated with grease, as if it hadn’t been drained properly. Lastly, I ordered and paid for an additional extra order of home made corn tortillas, and later, midway through my meal, the waitress took them away and tossed them without even asking. I didn’t notice because I was in the middle of a conversation with family members.

We made a big order and thought more care would be put into the food but we were mistaken. We ordered 5 Burritos Plate and 6 Aztec Soups and were given no condiments like cilantro, onions or lemons, and very little chips for an 11 item order. Some of the Aztec Soups were barely filled up compared to normal. The consistency is never there and when spending over 160 dollars I would like to get enough of my money’s worth. We love the food and live in the neighborhood and been clients for years. But it is always a gamble if the soup will just be beans or have actual sauce in it. Today none of the Aztec Soups had any cheese or avocado just pure beans!

Came on Mother’s Day location on Downey . Had to many TVs . Food wasn’t good ceviche didn’t tasted fresh . Also food had no flavor got one place served 20min later got the rest of the plates. Bad experience . I definitely don’t recommend this place

We were just passing through the area looking for places to eat. Found this spot and decided to give it a try. We’d definitely come back! This place is has great flavor, atmosphere was great, service was great, if you’re in the mood for good Mexican food, stop by.

Recently went to Gloria’s Cocina. The place was nice enough and food was pretty good; can’t complain. My only complaint was the wait time. I almost ended up leaving but I figured I’d wait. I wish they would have given me a more accurate wait time. That said, I’d go again if i know I have plenty of time. The service wasn’t too bad either.
