Attentive service. Ive had the tuna tostada and i just loved it. I also would recommend their carajillo. Their French toast is also a must & their flight of mimosas are oerfect with any of their food. There is parking w valet service

Came here twice in about two weeks…once for my birthday and another for happy hour. As corny as it sounds, I felt special when the bartender asked if I was recently there and I kindly said yes for my birthday. Service was great this afternoon and the environment is always calm and friendly.

I recently visited Tempo Cantina in Downey and had a generally positive experience. The restaurant itself is small, with old tables and chairs that give it a somewhat rustic feel. While the ambiance is cozy and inviting, the decor could use an update.
The drinks were good, but not particularly memorable. The cocktails were well-made, but lacked a wow factor. The food was similarly decent, but not outstanding. There were some highlights, but overall, it felt like the dishes could benefit from a bit more refinement.
Despite these criticisms, Tempo Cantina has a certain charm that’s hard to deny.
Overall, I’d recommend Tempo Cantina to those looking for a casual, laid-back spot with a good atmosphere. While there’s room for improvement, the restaurant’s charm and potential make it worth a visit.
